Hi, and welcome to my website! Thanks for stopping by. Let me tell you a little bit about me, although therapy will be all about you! 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey. I am an East Brunswick therapist and have been working in the counseling field for more than fifteen years. During this time, I have worked with clients who have had a wide range of needs. I have been enriched by helping many individuals and families overcome adversity and find happiness, peace and fulfillment. The most important part of my approach is establishing a safe, supportive and trusting therapeutic environment.  My clients experience healing and understanding with respect and dignity.

My career provides me with the opportunity to serve a wide variety of people. I work with people to resolve past traumas and current relationship issues. I treat children and adolescents and help them to cope with identity and social issues, as well as to overcome trauma-related difficulties.  I help families experiencing the impact of divorce and other losses. I treat depression, anxiety and the full spectrum of adult and youth diagnoses. I also provide counseling services to servicemen and women transitioning from active military duty to civilian life. I provide both individual and family therapy.  

I completed my undergraduate education at Northwestern University and Master's Degree and Post-Master's coursework in Psychological Counseling at Monmouth University. I am a New Jersey Certified School Counselor. I received a Certificate for the Treatment of Child Sexual Abuse, as well as a Certificate for the Treatment of Clinical Anxiety. In response to the threat of Covid-19, I completed a Certification for Clinical Teletherapy, and I have been meeting with clients via protected electronic sessions throughout this crisis. I have received intensive training in depression, trauma, stress management, conflict resolution, grief and bereavement.

I served on the New Jersey Governor's Advisory Council for Holocaust Education and authored a curriculum that is licensed to public and private schools.  I currently maintain an adjunct position as a Professor of Psychology at Brookdale Community College.

My greatest passion is to help people heal, reach their goals and find freedom to become all they were meant to be, living a happy and fulfilled life.
